Eating foods one is allergic to
results in inflammation of the brain.
Brain disorders are also linked to
acetyl choline, B-complex vitamins,
and thiamine deficiencies. B-com-
plex and B-12 injections are recom-
mended. According to Scripps-
Howard News Service, the University
of Cincinnati found that some patients
are misdiagnosed, and are actually
deficient in vitamin B - 12
To improve brain function, consume
wheat germ, beans, fish, miller,
turkey, sardines, salmon, lecithin,
nuts, seeds, and the amino acid glu-
tamic in the diet. Additionally, fiber
is important. Ginkgo biloba (1,000 mg. daily) protects the brain from free radical
damage. Studies indicate it helps
slow or even prevent Alzheimer's
disease.

Folic acid, found in dark leafy
greens, reduces the harsh side effects
of rheumatoid arthritic drugs. A
European poultice of mullein leaves
may be used for swollen joints.
Long term use of horsetail and pars-
ley may deplete potassium in the body.
Either take a potassium supplement or rotate horsetail and parsley intake (on for 3 months and off for 3 months). Avoid iron supplements, they are suspected of aggravating pain and swelling in joints.
Avoid spinach juice in large amounts, it contains oxalic acid, which promotes joint problems.
